Waste Oil Collection & Disposal
Waste and contaminated oil is classified as hazardous waste, so you cannot put it in a drum and take it to the tip, and you certainly cannot pour it away. We collect it, document it, and route it through licensed disposal and reprocessing channels so the liability stops with us.
What we collect
We collect water-contaminated kerosene and diesel, sludge and diesel bug residue drawn from tank bottoms, oil recovered during decommissioning, and redundant fuel left in tanks after a heating system change. Domestic, agricultural and commercial volumes are all fine, from a couple of hundred litres in a home tank up to bulk farm storage.

Why it has to be done properly
Under the Environmental Protection Act you have a duty of care for waste produced on your property until it is passed to an authorised person. Fly-tipped or improperly disposed oil traces back to the producer, and a single spill reaching a watercourse can trigger an Environment Agency prosecution alongside the clean-up bill. Collecting through a licensed carrier with documentation costs very little by comparison.
Where the oil is only water-contaminated rather than degraded, we filter and reclaim it wherever possible instead of sending it for destruction.
