Domestic, agricultural and commercial
Most of our work is domestic heating oil, the 1,000 to 2,500 litre tanks that keep off-grid houses warm across the East Midlands and Yorkshire. But the same team handles bulk kerosene, diesel, gas oil, HVO and AdBlue storage for farms, estates, haulage yards and commercial premises.
The rules differ between the two. Domestic installations are governed by Building Regulations Part J and OFTEC Technical Book 3. Commercial and agricultural tanks above 200 litres fall under the Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) Regulations, which require secondary containment, a bund sized to at least 110% of the tank, and fittings kept within the bund. We build to whichever set applies to you and certify accordingly.
- Domestic
- Heating oil tanks for houses, cottages and converted properties off the gas grid. Typically 1,000 to 2,500 litres, bunded, with a one-day replacement turnaround.
- Agricultural
- Bulk red diesel, kerosene and HVO storage for farms and estates. Often several tanks on one holding, upgraded together to meet the oil storage regulations.
- Commercial
- Bunded storage for haulage yards, plant depots and commercial premises, with contents gauges, overfill alarms and lockable fill points.

Very good experience. Visited to quote and answered all of my queries. The installation went exactly to plan with no issues. The old tank was taken away and a new one installed on a new base, and my existing oil was then transferred into it. The whole job took only a few hours from start to finish. Faultless service.

Absolutely brilliant service. From the first contact phone call they were professional and helpful. They came over the same day and put our fears away. They sorted everything out, from emptying the old tank and putting down a new base and installing a new tank. All the guys were courteous, friendly and hard working. A superb company run by real genuine professionals.

Excellent service at a competitive price. Dan and Ryan arrived promptly as arranged and our oil tank was cheerfully drained and removed. The job was done really quickly and efficiently, with minimal disruption and no mess at all. Good to know the residual waste oil will be filtered and reused, whilst the plastic tank will be recycled and the materials turned into new products. Very happy with your service and delighted we chose you.

Excellent job. Two crews turned up to remove my old steel tank from the garage loft and replace it with a new one in the garden. Ran pipes across the lawn, through the house to the boiler and Aga. Worked hard on a very hot day and left the place nice and clean. Looking forward to you guys servicing it for years to come. Thanks.

I was very pleased and impressed with the workmanship from start to finish. They did a marvellous job and left the site extremely clean and tidy. Exceptional work, thank you so very much. I would definitely recommend.

The fitters worked very quickly and efficiently and in no time had removed my old oil tank, made a base for the new one, fitted and filled the new tank, and checked all was working. They were very polite, telling me everything I needed to know, and ensured the site was clean and tidy before they left. Thank you for a job well done, highly recommended.
