What we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our website we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you are interested in, and whatever you tell us in the message field. We do not ask for and do not want payment details through this website.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used for security and to keep the site running, not to build a profile of you.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, and quote for the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interests and, where you go on to book work, performance of a contract.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with third-party marketing companies, and we will not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers needed to run the business: our website host, our email provider, and, where you proceed with work, our accountants and any finance provider you have chosen to apply to. Each processes your data on our instructions and under contract.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to, for example to comply with waste duty-of-care or environmental reporting obligations.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to work carried out are kept for six years to meet accounting, warranty and insurance obligations, and installation certification records are kept for as long as they may be needed to evidence compliance.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, to restrict or object to our processing, and to receive it in a portable format.
